Pedagogical Outrage

Posted by Alan Young

I'm still looking to find the truth behind this claim, but several blogs are saying that this fall, students at MIT will be taught by an AI! Apparently, the boneheads at MIT figured it would be a good idea for students taking an advanced computer course to have an advanced computer as their professor.

What's the big deal, you ask? Aren't "intellectuals" always doing stupid things? Yes, but this is dangerous. I know some people laugh at Christians when we say Satan was involved in some disaster, but it needs to be said. Now, I'm not saying Satan is behind this egghead idea, but I would bet he fully supports it. Why? Because it would encourage the students to submit before a machine. In case you need a reminder, there is God before whom all should submit, then humans who submit unto God, and then machines which are just tools.

It's bad enough that liberals worship themselves, denying their submission to God, but some apparently wish to replace God with a machine. Satan may not have come up with the idea, but I'm sure he supports it.

Problem with Turing Test

Posted by - Kristin Shepard

A lot of people say the AI programs have passed the Turing Test, which means we need to treat them as if they were human. But, as this old blog post shows, the Turing Test is not a good indicator of intelligence because even simple programs can pass it.

Explanation

This is not a real blog. It is a part of Stephen L. Thompson's scifi tway (Twitter play) "The Invisible Cliff." For a further explanation, follow this link.
